Filip Novotny Apple has finally confirmed the long-awaited date of its next product presentation. On Thursday evening, he sent invitations to American journalists with the date 9/9/2014.
In addition to this date, we only find the postscript "Wish we could say more" on the simply made invitations. However, according to the tradition of Apple and the photos leaked so far, it can be assumed that the main point of the upcoming event will be the presentation of the new iPhone model.
Recently, however, the upcoming unveiling of the iWatch smart watch has also been considered on technology-oriented servers. According to latest news even this brand new product could arrive on September 9th, in less than two weeks.
This time, Apple decided on a somewhat unusual location. Traditional venues such as San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center or the corporate headquarters in Cupertino will remain empty this time; the eyes of the tech world will instead focus on the Flint Center for the Performing Arts at Cupertino's De Anza College.
Apple hasn't held an event at this location in a very long time. However, he still has a strong bond with the Flint Center - Steve Jobs stood on its stage in 1984 to introduce the first computer from the Macintosh series.
Therefore, the choice of location for the upcoming event is probably not accidental, which is also confirmed by the photos from its preparations. As part of the cultural center, Apple has built a large three-story building, the meaning of which is being kept a top secret for the time being. According to the author of the photo, the building is covered in an opaque white material and its surroundings are guarded by a large number of security guards.
If even after this realization your expectations were not high enough, just remember the sentence spoken in this May by Eddy Cu: "We are working on the best products I have seen in my 25 years at Apple." We should finally get to know some of them already on September 9 at 19:00 our time.
Traditionally, Apple has not announced whether it will live stream the introduction of new products on its website, but in short, you certainly won't. On the same day that Apple confirmed the date of the keynote, mobil.cz published an article about the fact that the keynote will have to be moved... Does it look like serious information? Not. iDnes is a tabloid, you can't take it seriously ;-)
