When Steve Jobs unveiled the iPad 2 before March 2, some were disappointed that it didn't make it to the new iOS and MobileMe, which are expected to see major changes. At least that's what all the indications suggest. However, now the German server Macerkopf.de came with the information that Apple is preparing another presentation during the first half of April.

It is said that Apple should send out invitations to Cupertino at the beginning of April, where it wants to organize another "media event". The main, and perhaps the only, points will be iOS 5 and a redesigned MobileMe. It was expected that Apple would reveal some of this when presenting the second generation iPad, but Steve Jobs probably did not want other significant news to overlap, so he prefers to let everything lie and will appear in front of journalists and fans again in a month.

Although the final version of iOS 4.3 will be released on Friday, users are much more interested in iOS 5. It should bring significant changes - especially redesigned notification system, deeper integration with the cloud and probably some slight design changes. The competition is constantly evolving, and if Apple wants to escape again, it must not wait too long. None of the above-mentioned news has been confirmed, but the notification system, for example, is the Achilles heel of the current iOS.

Much has already been written about MobileMe, too. He even revealed that something was going on in one of the email responses Steve Jobs himself. MobileMe should happen free service and get a completely new form. There is also speculation about iTunes in the cloud or a new MediaStream feature for photos and videos.
