One of the biggest benefits of the Apple Arcade gaming service is access to dozens (sometimes hundreds) of game titles for a tolerable monthly subscription, free of ads and other in-app purchases. If you like this model, but haven't developed a taste for the games that Arcade has to offer, you might be interested in a new service called GameClub. The monthly subscription to this service is the same as Apple Arcade, and within it you can play more than a hundred games, including some retro classics adapted to play on the new iPhones or iPads.

As with Apple Arcade, the games offered within the GameClub service are completely free of ads or other in-app purchases, and do not require a current Internet connection to play. You also don't have to worry about the quality of the selection at GameClub - you'll find titles that have made it to Apple's annual Game of the Year rankings.

In addition to access to games, a GameClub subscription also gives you access to tips and tricks, reviews and other useful material related to games. But unlike Apple Arcade, GameClub doesn't sync data across devices, so it's not possible to play a game on an iPhone and finish it on an iPad.

The service menu will be updated on a weekly basis and you will find titles such as Pocket RPG, MiniSquadron, Incoboto, Legendary Wars, Deathbat, Grimm, Zombie Match, Kano, Run Roo Run, Gears and more. A complete list of available games is available here. If you decide to use the GameClub service, download the appropriate one first app from the App Store and register.
