Even though Apple has the status of an iconic company, that doesn't mean it has to be the absolute best from an employee perspective. It is not for nothing that they say that money comes first. And having a job at Apple in your resume is probably not to be thrown away either. Then when a better offer comes along, many Apple employees are happy to leave. Here are the more significant ones that have happened this year.

Sam Jadallah - Head of HomeKit

Sam was at Apple for three years, where he moved from one of the company's biggest competitors, namely Microsoft. He worked in the position of the head of HomeKit, from which he is now leaving of his own volition. It's not exactly good news, because HomeKit has a lot of potential and we're always hoping it will develop. After all, the leaks about the new platform also indicate this home OS.

Ron Okamoto - Vice President of Developer Relations

Ron joined Apple in 2001, originally from the post of Adobe's executive director. This year from Apple he said goodbye because of the case Epic GAMES. The official reason given is simple retirement, but it happened during this court case, so volume few believe.

Diogo Rau – Head of Technical Department for Retail and Online Shopping

After 10 long years, Diogo left Apple this year to join Lilly as senior vice president and chief information and digital officer. Diogo said of his departure that it was an honor to work with his colleagues and that Apple set the world standard for retail sales.

Employees of the Apple Car project

Dave Scott was in charge of leading the robotics team with a significant focus on the Apple Car. He then left the company at the beginning of the summer. Like Jaime Waydo, who led the security team focusing on autonomous systems and legislative regulations, again a post that revolves mainly around the Apple Car. In February, Benjamin Lyon, who had been with the Titan project since its inception, left the company. The biggest loss here, however, is Doug Field, who worked at Apple as vice president of special projects and left for Ford.

Jony Ive and his "team"

Sure, this designer already left Apple at the end of 2019. However, this year the designer quartet of Wan Is, Chris Wilson, Patch Kessler, and Jeff Tiller, all of whom worked under Jony's wing, left Apple and have now moved to his new company, LoveFrom. Meanwhile, Wan Si worked at Apple for 16 long years.
