Jiří Filip Press Release: The number of XTB clients reached the 500 mark in May. Thanks to active global development and a systematically growing number of clients, the company is climbing upwards, not only within the FX / CFD market. Now XTB has ranked among the top five world forex brokers in the number of active clients.
The basis of XTB's development and at the same time the basis for achieving excellent results in the future is a constantly growing client base. In the first quarter of 2022, XTB acquired 55,3 thousand new clients, which means an increase in their total number to 481,9 thousand. It is worth noting that the growth in the number of clients is systematic. For the entire year 2021, the client base increased from 255,8 thousand to 429,2 thousand, i.e. by 68%. XTB recorded the same rate of client growth (+71%) in 2020 as well.
The increase in the number of clients is the result of intensive business and marketing activities in the markets of Central and Eastern Europe, Western Europe and Latin America. Development potential is also related to expansion and development in international markets (including the newly opened subsidiary in Dubai for the Middle East and North African markets).
Another important parameter that distinguishes XTB from the competition is the increase in the average number of active clients. In the first quarter, it was 149,8 thousand, compared to 103,4 thousand in the first quarter of the previous year, and 112 thousand on average for the whole year 2021. This increase brought XTB into the top five of the world's largest FX/CFD brokers in terms of the number of active clients.
