October 2014, XNUMX marks the third anniversary of Steve Jobs' death. Apple and especially its CEO Tim Cook never let the company's co-founders be forgotten, and it is no different now. On this occasion, Tim Cook sent out an internal message, which, however, is far from serving only Apple employees.
In a letter Friday, Tim Cook, who replaced Jobs at the head of the California company, called on all Apple employees to take a moment to remember Steve and what he meant to the world.
The team.
Sunday is the third anniversary of Steve's death. I'm sure many of you will think of him in that one, as I will.
I trust you will take a moment to appreciate the many ways Steve has made our world a better place. Children are learning in new ways thanks to the products he dreamed up. The most creative people on earth use them to compose symphonies and pop songs and write everything from novels to poetry to text messages. Steve's life's work created the canvas upon which artists can now create their masterpieces.
Steve's vision was extended far beyond the years he lived, and the values he built Apple on will always be with us. Many of the ideas and projects we're working on now began after he died, but his influence on them—and on all of us—is unmistakable.
Enjoy your weekends and thanks for helping carry Steve's legacy into the future.
Tim
Tim Cook on Jobs he recalled also in a recent interview with Charlie Rose, where he stated, among other things, that Jobs' office on the fourth floor of Apple's main building remains intact. David Muir then entrusted, that "Steve's DNA will always be the foundation of Apple".
Although the message is originally intended only for company employees, it is usual for most of them to reach the public, and Apple has already sent a few to journalists. Therefore, we can sense that Cook is not only calling on employees to remember Jobs' legacy, but also the entire public.
Phew, what about the typos..
Take a look samsuck
I like to remember him, because exactly three years ago Apple was at the top and now it is only going down. :(
In 3 years, your IQ has dropped, and if you keep writing this kind of crap on the Internet, it will come to haunt Jobs personally ;)
RIP Steve :(
Well, I think that after the last keynote, everyone remembers Jobs because things are going downhill with Apple.
I BURY ALL HIS VISIONS NOW. IT'S NOT APPLE ANYMORE BUT EPL
there are rumors that after the death of Jobs, the atmosphere in the company noticeably relaxed. the tyranny of one smug egoist has fallen. and no wonder. only fanatics make Jobs a genius. Behind everything are the partial successes of many teams. imo, if we were to take it as a whole ipad, I don't see it displayed as a file but as a dead branch. stefan told people about it, but big phones (now also iphones) push out the ipad themselves and thus it loses its justification. it's just a toy and nothing more. will a large smartphone plus ntb be enough? what's a tablet for shit only like that. The ipad is a technological mistake, the market became saturated relatively quickly and sales will only (fortunately) go down.
At the time Jobs made similar statements, he knew very well that technology did not allow for better solutions. Large displays in huge device bodies were for a few enthusiasts, not for the masses. Sometimes he wants to see beyond his ego...
everything is not just about bringing people what they need. Jobs took advantage of the holes in the market and flooded it with a large plate that is practically useless. In my opinion, it was pure profit from which they could subsidize the production of other things. only after his death everything stopped. there is absolutely no innovative technique coming, and everything is done hastily and badly. iOS7 was a failure, iOS8 is not much better. the new iPhones are a complete design disaster and the last one has not been moved.
I'm sorry, but there are a lot of teams like Mel Jobs in the world, and maybe even more talented ones, but once you don't have a visionary mover, those teams with a waiver are useless... and people like Jobs simply can't be in the corner and go out with everyone and make fun and live cool, yes but then again it probably wouldn't be an iphone...
Well, I don't know if history remembers anything like that. A cult company has become a global giant. With the crazy increase in the number of Apple customers, logically a certain part of the "loyalists" tries to define. He reminisces about the old (I don't write good) times and rambles on about the present. In my opinion, Apple is still faithful to the traditions and principles established by the blessed Steve Jobs, while at the same time flexibly adapting to the masses as much as possible without being fundamentally detrimental to the cause. As long as that is the case, I have no fear for the future. PS – the new iPhone is really ugly :-) Hi
without jobs there would be no cook... no iphone either... tablets wouldn't be so popular... probably there wouldn't even be a competitive android... I think nokia would be leading with its baked symbian and windows would be constantly fine-tuning the untunable windows mobile... I think iphone and iOS jobs started the taping systems smartphone and set a new positive direction for handheld universal devices... maybe he died because of his hard work... and TI is fine in phone heaven...
