Just go to apple.com after starting the stream and play the video normally. Live streaming video requires Safari on iOS 6.0 or later.
I have a question, during the last WWDC I had to watch it on the iPad because I have windows on my computer, everywhere they said that it would go through Quick time, but when I put File and Open URL, nothing came from apple.com/live and it said an error , it was not possible to connect in any way, I didn't download anything from Apson, despite the fact that Apple announced that it would work even under MS W with quicktime....
