In today's installment of our regular series on native Apple apps, we'll continue our focus on the iPhone Shortcuts app. This time we will focus on duplicating and sharing individual shortcuts.

You can also duplicate shortcuts in the relevant application - this is useful, for example, if you want to create a similar shortcut and use an existing shortcut as its base. In the Shortcuts app, tap the My Shortcuts tab in the bottom bar. Click Select in the upper right corner, select the shortcuts (or shortcut) you want to duplicate, and click Duplicate in the lower left corner. A duplicate shortcut will immediately appear in the shortcut list with the appropriate numerical designation. You can edit the shortcut by tapping the three dots icon in the upper right corner.

You can also use a similar procedure if you want to delete an abbreviation from your list. Launch the Shortcuts app and switch to the My Shortcuts tab in the bottom bar. Tap Select in the upper right corner and tap Delete in the lower right corner to delete the shortcut. After that, all you have to do is confirm the deletion. All modifications and changes of this type will always be reflected on all devices signed in to the same iCloud account. If you want to sync all your shortcuts across devices under the same iCloud account, go to Settings -> Shortcuts on your iPhone. Here, all you have to do is activate the item Synchronization via iCloud. iCloud sync does not apply to personal automation shortcuts. If you want to share shortcuts from the shortcut editor, make sure you have iCloud sync enabled (Settings -> Shortcuts -> iCloud sync) and untrusted shortcuts enabled. In the Shortcuts app, tap the My Shortcuts category at the bottom left and select the shortcut you want to share. Tap the share icon and then proceed as usual.
