Our regular series on native Apple apps continues with Notes on Mac. In today's episode, we will take a closer look at working with reminder lists - we will learn how to add, edit and delete them.

Reminders lists in the Reminders app on Mac help you keep better track of your tasks and reminders. You can thus create separate shopping lists, wish lists or perhaps an overview of tasks to be completed. You can distinguish individual lists from each other not only by name, but also by color and icon. Launch the Reminders app, and if you don't see the sidebar on the left, click View -> Show Sidebar in the toolbar at the top of your Mac screen. In the lower left corner of the application window, under the reminder lists, click Add list. Enter a name for the new list and press Enter (Return). If you want to change the list's name or icon, right-click on its name in the sidebar and select Info. You can change the name of the list in the relevant field, you can change the color and the icon by clicking on the arrow next to the list icon. Click OK when you're done editing.

You can also group individual reminder lists. On the toolbar at the top of your Mac screen, click File -> New Group. In the sidebar, enter the name of the newly created group and press Enter (Return). To add a new list to a group, right-click on its name in the sidebar and select Add to Group. To delete a list, right-click on its name in the sidebar and select Delete. If you delete a comment list, you also delete all comments contained in it. To delete a list group, right-click on the group name in the sidebar and select Delete Group. Be sure to confirm whether you want to keep the lists before deleting the group.
