As with all other Apple devices, you can use the native Mail app on the iPad. In the next few parts of our series, we will get to know the basics of its operation, in the first part we will discuss the creation of e-mail messages on the iPad.

To create a new e-mail message, you can either use the Siri assistant (for example, using the command "Hey Siri, new e-mail to.."), or by tapping the block icon with a pencil in the upper right corner of your iPad's display. The procedure is then simple - in the relevant fields you fill in the e-mail address of the addressee, possibly the recipient of the copy, the subject, and you can start writing the message itself. You can easily edit the font and style of the message body in native Mail on the iPad - just tap the "Aa" icon in the upper left corner above the keyboard, and then you can choose the type, font and font size, paragraphs, lists and other parameters.

If you want to reply to a message you received instead of creating a completely new email message, click the arrow icon in the lower right corner of the message. In the menu that appears, choose the type of reply, and then continue writing the message as you are used to. To include a quote from the original sender in your reply, press and hold the first word in the sender's email, then drag your finger to the last word. Click on the arrow icon in the lower left corner and start writing your answer. If you want to turn off quoted text indentation in native Mail on iPad, go to Settings -> Mail -> Increase citation level.
