Amaya Toman You can also use the Home app on your Mac. Unlike iOS devices, Dómáknost has one significant limitation – you cannot add new accessories through it. However, you can easily control the individual elements of your smart home, set and turn on scenes and perform a number of other actions.

Controlling accessories through the Home app on Mac is not difficult. Depending on the type of accessory, you have various control tools available in the application – turning it off, turning it on, changing the light colors of the respective bulbs, and more. You can view the controls for each of the elements by double-clicking on the corresponding tile - a panel will appear in which you can easily control the selected accessories. Although you can't add accessories in the Home app for Mac, you can add scenes here. In the upper right corner of the application window, click the “+” and choose Add Scene. Name the new scene, add accessories and set the necessary details. You can also add accessories to a room in Home for Mac - choose Home from the bar at the top of the app window, double-click the selected accessory, then click Room in the Accessories tab. In the list of rooms, select the room to which you want to add the accessory.

To rename an accessory, click Home on the bar at the top of the application window, double-click the selected accessory, delete its name in the tab and enter a new one. When you're done editing, click the “x” in the upper right corner of the accessory tab. To edit a room, click Edit -> Edit Room on the toolbar at the top of your Mac screen. In the editing tab, you can then set the wallpaper of the room, rename it or add it to the zone. You can then control accessories in individual zones (divided into floors, for example) at once in the Household.
