When Apple introduced the iPhone 8 and iPhone X with wireless charging support last fall, it also promised a new generation of its wireless AirPods, which should offer the same function. Related to this news are rumors that the case that enables wireless charging of AirPods should be sold separately for a price that is roughly 1400 crowns. So far, however, the public has not seen either the new generation of AirPods or the corresponding case, which gives the accessory manufacturers an opportunity to show off.

It's quite likely that Apple is taking its time so that everything really works as it should when the new AirPods are released, while some say that Apple is waiting for the release of the AirPower pad - which could be practically any moment.

But for those who can't wait, there is an interesting project on Kickstarter called PowerPod Case. This is a silicone case for AirPods (or a case for a case with AirPods) with technology that enables wireless charging.

One of the indisputable pluses of this project is the price, which amounts to just over 400 crowns. At this price, however, the case is only available as a pre-sale – the expected date of the official release of the PowerPod is this June, when the price will already double. Even this amount is still lower than the expected price of the official case for wireless charging from Apple, but customers will have to wait a little longer for the PowerPod.

The PowerPod Case is made of highly resistant and high-quality silicone, the huge advantage of which is its flexibility and flexibility. The electronic elements with which the case is equipped are really thin and unobtrusive and use common wireless standards, thanks to which energy can be transferred to the case from any wireless charging pad.
