Everyone has certainly experienced it at some point. You pack your things for a trip, check off everything you need according to the list, but only on the spot do you find out that you have all the chargers for your iOS devices and MacBook, but you forgot the cable for your Apple Watch at home. I experienced this situation just recently. Unfortunately, no one around me had an Apple Watch, so I had to put it on sleep mode. My Apple Watch Nike+ lasts two days at most, and I have to save a lot of it. It's a shame that I didn't have the MiPow Power Tube 6000 power bank with me at the time, which I only tested a few days later.
It was created especially for Watch and iPhone owners. As one of the few, it boasts its own integrated and certified charging connector just for the Watch, which is cleverly hidden right in the body of the charger. In addition, there is also an integrated Lightning cable on the top of the power bank, so you can charge your Apple Watch and iPhone at the same time, which is definitely convenient.
The MiPow Power Tube 6000 has a capacity of 6000 mAh, which means that you can charge:
- 17 times the Apple Watch Series 2, or
- 2 times iPhone 7 Plus, or
- 3 times the iPhone 7.
Of course, you can split the power and charge your Apple Watch and iPhone at the same time. You will then get the following charging results from the MiPow Power Tube:
- 10 times 38mm Watch Series 1 and 2 times iPhone 6, or
- 8 times 42mm Watch Series 2 and once iPhone 7 Plus, and so on.
If you charge the watch in bedside mode, the power bank from MiPow can also handle it, which has a practical stand and the Watch can be easily propped up. But do not try to charge the iPad with this external battery, it does not have enough power.
The power bank itself is recharged using the classic microUSB connector, which is included in the package. The remaining capacity is signaled by four discreet but bright LEDs on the front, and a full charge can be achieved in four to five hours. The technology used protects the device being charged and the bank from overvoltage, overcharging, high temperature and short circuits. In this day and age, therefore, completely self-evident technologies.
The MiPow Power Tube 6000 also appealed to me with its design, which you definitely don't need to be ashamed of. The charger combines anodized aluminum with plastic. If you are worried about any unwanted scratches or knocks, you can use the fabric cover, which is also included in the package. You will also welcome the low weight, only 150 grams.
On the contrary, what I don't like very much is the silicone surface of the integrated Lightning cable. It is completely white and gets dirty quite quickly during everyday charging. Fortunately, it is easy to wipe off, but it will still lose its shine over time. However, it does not change the functionality at all. The charger is fully certified and the Apple Watch starts charging immediately after being attached.
I can recommend the MiPow Power Tube 6000 to all users who regularly travel and do not want to drag cables and a magnetic connector with them. For this power bank you will pay 3 crowns, which does not sound very good at first glance, but you need to calculate and evaluate whether you want to have a magnetic dock for the Watch, a Lightning cable and a power bank in one, or you do not mind carrying everything separately. With MiPow, you pay primarily for the successful packaging of everything in one product.
The power bank is nice, but given the price, I'll wait to see what the competition does. For my convenience, I would be willing to pay 1.500 CZK max for such a power bank, but certainly not more than 3.000 CZK.
Belkin Power Pack 6700 at Alza for 2700 .. I've had it for a long time and I'm satisfied :)
Without comparison to similar products, this is a PR article and should be labeled as such. On the Czech market, this category has long been represented by, among other things, the "Belkin power bank for Apple Watch + iPhone 6700 mAh"
Lady, where did you fall from? Without comparison with similar products, it is not a comparative article, but it is still something like a preview, a presentation of the product with the addition of own experiences and photos. If it was PR, it would be immediately recognizable and it would certainly be labeled as such. ;-)
Considering how often the local newsroom advertises to someone without indicating it, I would be careful with the preview.
For example, the application "I can pick it up" had "advertisement" here several times....just like on other sites without it being marked as an advertisement. The developer is simply a friend of the editors of many online magazines, so his friends advertised for him completely free of charge, and they still pretend that they stumbled upon the app by accident and it's really great and no one else can do these things...
Don't worry, since more Czech call blocking applications have appeared, we are working on comparing the alternatives that are available. It should appear soon.
Yeah, I won't deny that. :-)
I like it when the article shows some independent approach. Alternatively, if the text in it plays on "own experience", then there should also be own images and not just those from the manufacturer (seller). I have come across this here more than once.
