We have another application for the Czech Republic that will make your shopping easier and save some space in your wallet.
Which application are you talking about? Called Purse. Have you ever gone to a store where you own a loyalty card, the clerk asks you about its existence, and you start searching in your wallet and can't find it? Purse solves this problem for you.
I have personally experienced several such situations. Especially when I was looking for a card in Bill's stores. The sales lady asked me if I had their loyalty card and I assured her that I did. When she asked me about her, I started looking for her and I couldn't find her. Sure, I left her at home.
So what makes this app so indispensable? Will you stop forgetting thanks to her? No. All you have to do is take a picture of your card's barcodes (or write them by hand) and then you can simply use these codes in stores. You pull out your phone and points are loaded via the barcode, which can be collected, for example, at Baťa, DM or Makro stores.
Controlling the entire Purse is as simple as adding individual cards by taking a picture of the barcode. It has a pleasant "leather" appearance, giving the impression of a real wallet - purse. By adding the + button, you can create your own code in the application, fill in the rest of the information (such as the name of the store) and, the next time you shop, simply pull it up on your phone and still garner the saleswoman's interest.
The application is new, so incompatibility with certain cards can be expected. Currently, for example, a problem with cards Tesco Club. However, we can expect the developers to fix the issues in the upcoming updates.
And what about you? Do you think you will use this app in stores?

does it also work for SR? thank you
/I didn't read the article/
I haven't had a chance to try it, so I don't know. Probably the only option is to try to download and try directly in a store.
I'll try
Great, this is really cool
I would rather be interested in practical use. Does the glossy glass display cause problems for readers? And in practice it looks like I have to shove my iPhone in the hand of every saleswoman in the supermarket? I do not know…
miki : try to read it and then ask questions.
It certainly works in Somalia too
I was in a hurry to the ball, so I didn't have time to read it all
The idea is great, but I can't really imagine it in practice...
I can't find it in the SK Store. Is it limited to the Czech Republic?
Yeah, it's probably only in the CZ Store.
I would also be interested in specific experiences? If there is a problem with loading the code from the iPhone display or how does the sales lady react to this?
The saleswomen look embarrassed, but finally they beep the code from the iPhone, but it doesn't work. And then you look like an ox. :(
I had no problem scanning the code, but I only had the opportunity to try it in one store.
From the messages that friends sent me, I just found out that in the worst case, you can copy the code manually, but that's the worst option.
Like I don't have to swipe a card to enter Makro? Well I do not know. Or is it just for some point loading? (because it's of no use to me) .. otherwise like me I take it as the idea, but in practice it will be just a genius application to make yourself look like a fool in the eyes of those around you ... especially if it happens that the the machine won't take it.
The reading device does not read the glossy display, own experience... The saleswoman can copy the code, but it is no longer the same...
Tried in DM. It doesn't work. App deleted.
Why is this article here? Why does the author here write like this about an application that he apparently hasn't even tried? It's not marked as a commercial, it's not a warning about some expected gem either, so what is it actually? Why isn't there at least a few lines about your own experience? Will we find out from the comments that it's an article about something that doesn't work for people?
I had the opportunity to test the application, but only in one store that I had nearby during the testing period in the given region. Everything worked without problems. The ones I asked just told me that it didn't work in some stores, so the saleswoman had to copy the code by hand. Still, it's an advantage for not having to carry all the cards with you. In the worst case, the saleswoman will simply describe the number.
And this article is here to point out an interesting app that you can try and lighten your wallets.
OK, I apologize for such a reaction, the attack on the application and the idea is certainly good, but somehow I missed the mention of experience with it in the article. Then when I read about how it doesn't work for people, it quite surprised me. I can quite imagine the situation when the seller refuses to rewrite the code and will only want the original card. Or her iPhone slips out of the year and falls to the ground - if it happens to me, why can't it happen to her too. As a municipality selling somewhere in a supermarket with a salary lower than the price of an iPhone, I would rather think about such unnecessary problems and maybe just not take this. Anyway, it would be nice if everything worked and was without problems, finally a practical thing.
I can already see how I accept it in Makro. Throw me out there.
Good, but not in practice
Drnec: If you read well, this app should help you not to carry a wallet full of cards. I think it's a pretty good idea. I'm also puzzled by the glossy display...
Good idea. I have a film with an "anti-glare" surface on the display, maybe it will help. I'll try it at the Tesco self-service checkout. They won't stare at me there.
I don't have experience with this specific application, but scanning from the display is possible (for example, in the Apple Store they can send you your receipt by email) and if you have a problem or want to return the product, you can scan the barcode of the receipt directly from the display. I think the bigger problem is what the saleswoman will scan.
Is the app already downloaded from the app store? Because I can't find her,,,
TODAY IN MACRO:
1, It won't load the gold card at all
2, Ordinary (for mortals) it loaded
3, It didn't load me at the input
4, On the information they sent me somewhere…
5, They still wanted to see the card at the checkout
Application for NOTHING
But it was probably well thought out!
I have tried the application, so I will share my experience. It's still available in the App Store, but it's not in the US Store, I had to go back to CZ. I think there is no reason to put it away, it works everywhere. What surprised me was the overall slowness of the application. The responses were like those of a four-year-old device, and I have an iPhone 4. But maybe that will be fixed in time. I saved ten cards to the app. Not all cards are saved by this application – some have a magnetic strip for reading, some have a chip, some have to be signed, etc. Of the ten that I saved, I had to manually add the name of the store that was not in the list to seven of them. For two, I noticed that the read code did not completely match the number that was written on it. It's a bug, but I don't think it's this particular application. For example, the Tesco card was among the worst. Well, the practical test turned out as expected - the reader in the Barvica and Novotny bookstore did not read anything from the display. I admit that I already felt a little awkward there and the slow responses in the application didn't really hold me back. Try just scrolling with the list of cards on the display - it's a waste. So in the final, I at least have a list of my loyalty or discount cards on my phone. And not all of them, as is probably due to the reasons mentioned above. And besides, I don't even have them in alphabetical order and they can't be arranged in any way. If there was a picture for all of them, it would probably help the clarity a bit, but the pictures cannot be added manually and they are only displayed for the store from the list - for me it was only three out of ten at the time. For the latter, it is necessary to search in small print under Tsar's codes. So for me - it's not useful enough in terms of functionality and comfort.
Darko You can't download it on the app store from Slovakia.
It is an application limited to the Czech Republic. :O((
I downloaded the application, loaded all the cards into it, and after the software update the day before yesterday, it's empty:( so is my husband... unfortunately, otherwise it was a nice application...
