You've probably noticed the huge rise in popularity of so-called Battle Royal games over the last year. PLAYERUNKNOWN's Battlegrounds made the biggest dent in the world in the last twelve months, breaking one record after another since last fall. This year, a challenger appeared on the market, which is also not doing badly now. This is a Fortnite Battle Royale title that was only available for PC and consoles until now. However, this is changing now, FBR will also be available for the iOS operating system from next week.

Developers from Epic Games announced today that the game will appear in the App Store in the next week, in a version for both iPhone and iPad. By converting to the iOS platform, the game should not lose any of its attractiveness. According to the developers, players can look forward to the same gameplay, the same map, the same content and the same weekly updates that players are used to from PC or consoles. The game should also have a multiplayer component across individual platforms. In practice, you can play from the iPad, for example, against players who play on a PC. Control imbalance in this case will have to go aside…

Releasing the game on iOS is in line with the developers' strategy to make it available to as many players as possible on as many gaming platforms as possible. The iOS version of the game should feature the same graphics as the console version. Thus, there should be no simplification due to the port on mobile devices. If you are interested in the iOS version of the game, please register on the developer's website, so you will be among the first to receive an invitation. Official invitations to the game will be sent out starting March 12, with limited availability initially. The developers want to gradually introduce players to the game. Fortnite for iOS will require an iPhone 6s/SE and later, or an iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2, or iPad Pro and later.
