Are you a fan of the popular computer strategy series Tropico? Then mark December 18th in your calendar, because Tropico for iPad will appear on the App Store on that very day. Sometime in the course of next year, the iPhone version will also receive the conversion.

The popular dictator simulator, in which you build your own utopian republic with a considerable amount of exaggeration and fun, will arrive on iPads in less than two weeks. The developer studio Feral Interactive is behind the conversion, which is responsible for a number of other titles that were originally released on other platforms. In the case of Tropica, it will be a full-fledged port of the fourth part, which should, however, use some elements from the other parts.

According to the developers, it will be a "premium title", which in this case means that the user will pay full price and have peace. No subscription model, no annoying microtransactions. The game will be compatible with fifth and sixth generation iPads, as well as all iPad Pros. Installation will require the presence of iOS 12 and at least 3 GB of free storage space. The game will be available for $12 and can be pre-ordered starting today. You can find a direct link to the App Store here. Another "proper" and full-fledged strategy is coming to iPads, which takes its place next to classics such as Rome: Total War or Civilization.
