Frostpunk is the work of developers from 11 bit studios, our Polish neighbors, who became famous for the excellent survival game This War of Mine. While in that one you were in charge of a group of survivors in a war-torn world, Frostpunk puts you in charge of the survival of an entire city. In an inhospitable world, humanity has reverted to steam technology, generating at least some heat to keep itself alive. Thus, keeping the power generators running will be your main task around which all other activities will revolve.
As the mayor of New London, in addition to building the city, developing new technologies and managing the lawmen, you will also undertake expeditions into inhospitable surroundings. There you can find the remains of a destroyed civilization or even some other survivors who, thanks to luck, managed to survive in the extreme cold.
