Although we sporadically deal with leaks of information about upcoming products at our magazine, given that in recent hours and days, apparently real schematics of this year's iPhone 15 and 15 Pro have been circulating on the Internet, it would probably be a sin not to take a closer look at them at least quickly. The diagrams reveal quite a lot about the news, and in some cases they are quite surprising.

At the outset, it almost seems like it could be said that if in previous years the basic iPhones and iPhones Pro seemed very similar to each other, this year will probably be a turning point in this regard, which will significantly separate these model lines. In addition to a different processor, material on the frame or camera, a different type of side control buttons, a narrower frame around the display and, apparently, the dimensions as such will also be added. We do not know whether the iPhone Pro will be smaller or, on the contrary, the iPhone 15 will be larger, but the difference in their height is clearly visible in the diagrams.

We also have to stop at the aforementioned side buttons, where while Apple will use the same solution as in previous years in the form of physical switches for the basic iPhones, the Pro series will have haptic buttons that should work similarly to the Home Button on the iPhone SE 3. Thanks to this, thus, among other things, the Pro series should have increased resistance to damage, as well as water resistance and dust resistance. The cameras will also undergo a significant change, although they look the same at first glance as in previous years, but while they will remain more or less as prominent as in the 15 series, in the case of the iPhone 15 Pro, Apple is determined to significantly "pull" them out of the body, due to which they will at least according to the schematics appear more robust than ever before.

However, there are of course also a few things in which the iPhones agree and which will surely play a very important role for them. The diagrams confirmed the deployment of Dynamic Island even in basic iPhones, which can be described as a great promise for the future. Currently, Dynamic Island is used by a relatively small number of applications, and its extension to more phones should finally "kick" developers to start supporting it in their applications. But we must not forget about the charging port, which will become USB-C for the first time in the history of iPhones. This will replace Lightning in both model lines, and although it will probably be slower in the basic iPhone 15 than in the Pro series, it will open the same compatibility with USB-C accessories.
