A short video called Made in Paris appeared on YouTube this morning, showing several scenes with pastry chef Elise Lepinteur and her patisserie in Paris. This is the first video of its kind that was shot only on the iPhone X and pretty much made the rounds on the "Apple Internet" shortly after it was posted, as it's quite a sight to behold. Many of the creators of this video lamented the fact that they helped themselves with some other semi/pro tools, because the resulting video looks really good. As it turned out, only the iPhone X and a few tripods, film joints, tripods, etc. were used during the filming. In addition to the video, footage from the filming also made it onto the Internet.

If you haven't seen the video, you can watch it below. It is really worth it, both in terms of quality and content. The painstaking work of the confectioner is captured in the wonderful shots, so we can see how she creates perfect confectionary creations. Truly a joy to behold. However, the technical quality is also at a very high level. Especially considering it's all filmed on a phone.

In the gallery below you can view pictures from the shoot. They clearly show the equipment the filmmakers had. It's clear that the resulting video has gone through some level of post-processing during editing, but even so, the result is absolutely breathtaking and only shows the ever-improving capabilities of modern phones. The trend of shooting similar images on smartphones has been around for a few years now, and as phones improve, the quality of the production logically increases. The video above is a clear example of this.
