Apple offers its iPhone in all possible corners of the world and is constantly spreading it further and further. But it is only now that the opportunity to offer the Apple phone to more than 700 million customers will probably open up. Apparently, Apple has finally made a deal with China Mobile, the largest mobile operator in the world...

A deal between Apple and China Mobile has been rumored for a long time. It always was in the greatest interest Californian company to connect with the largest Chinese and at the same time the world's operator, because it would open the possibility to reach hundreds of thousands more potential customers.

And it looks like it's about to happen. WSJ informs, that the deal is in place and China Mobile will start offering the new iPhone 5S and 5C on its network on December 18. It is on that day that China Mobile is to introduce its new 4G network, and representatives of the operator have previously stated that they will not start selling iPhones until the new network is operational.

There was also the problem that the iPhones did not support the TD-LTE standard required for the device to work on China Mobile's network, however the new iPhones 5C and 5S already support this standard and together with their introduction Apple also obtained the necessary license.

The cooperation with China Mobile can prove to be really crucial for Apple, especially in terms of the Chinese market and the number of new customers. After all, this operator has a user base seven times larger than Verizon Wireles, the largest American operator. China Mobile was one of the last major global carriers that Apple did not have signed contracts with.

In China, iPhones have so far been sold only by smaller companies - China Telecom and China Unicom. They ran iPhones on their 3G networks.

Apple would now finally be able to speak more strongly to the Chinese market, where it is not able to establish itself nearly as well due to cheap competition. According to surveys, China Mobile could sell 1,5 million iPhones per month. Overall, this would increase activations of new Apple phones by 20 million next year, representing a 17% increase in sales over the past fiscal year.

After iPhones, iPads could also come soon, which would be a logical continuation of the cooperation between Apple and China Mobile. Even iPads in this network would certainly help Apple gain additional percentages in the Chinese market.
