As of this morning, the number of countries in which users of Apple products can pay using the contactless payment system Apple Pay has increased again. Somewhat out of the blue, news has emerged that starting today, Apple Pay is available to select users in Belgium and Kazakhstan.

In the case of Belgium, Apple Pay is (for now) exclusively offered by the banking house BNP Paribas Fortis and its subsidiaries Fintro and Hello Bank. Currently, there is support only for these three banking institutions, with the fact that it is possible to extend the service to other banking companies in the future.

As for Kazakhstan, the situation here is much friendlier from the user's point of view. Initial support for Apple Pay was expressed by a significantly larger number of institutions, among which are: Eurasian Bank, Halyk Bank, ForteBank, Sberbank, Bank CenterCredit and ATFBank.

Belgium and Kazakhstan are thus 30th and 31st world country where Apple Pay support has arrived. And this value should continue to rise in the coming months. Apple Pay should be launched in neighboring Germany this year, where they have been impatiently waiting for this service for many years. According to official sources, Saudi Arabia is also in the crosshairs. In recent months, it has also been indirectly confirmed that in two months we will also see it here in the Czech Republic. Apple Pay should be launched in the Czech Republic sometime at the turn of January or February.
