After three years, the studio PopCap decided to revive its former success of the first part of the fight between flowers and zombies. Released the second installment of Plants Vs. Zombies, this time with the subtitle "It's about time!", which immediately took the top spot in downloaded and popular games. In this sequel, you will get to three different times - ancient Egypt, the Sea of Pirates and the Wild West, and you won't be bored in any of them (at least not at first).

The principle of the game remains the same. You buy plants in the sun and protect yourself so that your brain is not eaten by zombies. Mowers also remained as a last resort from death, but they look completely different in each era. Not even in the second part of Plants vs. Zombies could not miss the almanac of all zombies and plants and of course "Crazy Dave". However, the graphics have also been improved and the game now also supports the iPhone 5.

In Plants Vs. Zombies 2 is waiting for you both plants that you already know from the first part, such as "sunflower, nut or pea plant", as well as brand new flowers - "cabbage catapult, dragon plant" and many others.

Ancient Egypt awaits you first with pyramids and zombies in the form of mummies, pharaohs and other various creatures whose appearance will make you laugh more than once. Next comes the Pirate Sea, where you will meet, how else, but pirate sailors or captains, and the whole fight takes place on the decks of two ships. And finally, there's the Wild West. However, I will not tell you anything about him, and I will leave his discovery to you.

As you progress through the map, you earn stars, coins, and keys, unlocking more plants and power-ups to help you progress through the game. When you get to the end of the map where you find the gate in the form of a huge blue star, more special rounds will appear in which you will get more stars to open the gate for the next time. In some such rounds you cannot have more than a certain number of plants, in others you cannot spend more than a set amount of suns. There are more tasks and some of them are not exactly easy, but fun is guaranteed (and nerves too).

When you get to the gate of time, the so-called Challenge zone is unlocked for you, where you start with just a few plants and gradually draw more. There are several levels in the zone, always more difficult than the previous ones. However, the progress in the Challenge zone does not affect the overall progress on the map.

The so-called Power-ups, which allow you to kill zombies en masse for a short time, are completely new and can be obtained for collected coins. There are a total of three Power-ups available: "Pinch" - with this you simply kill zombies by moving your index finger and thumb (as if you were pinching someone). "Throw" - just throw your zombie in the air and throw it away from the screen (tap and swipe) and the last one is "Stream Strike" which is very easy to use, just tap and watch the zombie turn into harmless ash. As long as you have enough coins, you also have Power-ups. I personally don't use them much, I mostly manage with plants only.

sti with special rewards - for example, the discovery of a Yeti in ancient Egypt, which you have to defeat with the help of plants, and then you will receive the desired reward, for example, in the form of a large bag of coins.

At the beginning of the game, you will definitely be amazed at how much Plants vs. Zombies have moved forward - graphics, new plants and a completely different environment, so you can also spend four hours on the game and not even know how. Over time, when you get to the pirates and find that you need to collect a lot more stars to move to the Wild West, you might get bored with the game. But when you get to the cowboys, the fun starts again. So don't wait for anything and download Plants vs. Zombies 2 from the App Store completely free. However, if you want to improve the game, In-App Purchases can be a real drain on your wallet.
