We informed you a few days ago about integrating Twitter into Ping. Now we bring another novelty. Ping comes to iPad.
These days, Apple modified the iTunes application for iPad by adding support for its own social network Ping. iPad users will thus receive another improvement, which will be released in the near future with iOS 4.2.
In iTunes, account holders will be able to view the activities of other users, who they follow, who follows them, edit their profile. The concerts section will show people the nearest local concerts, including links to buy tickets.
In addition, Ping will be fully integrated with the social service Twitter. Any activity you do (for example, when you like something or post something on your "wall") will be automatically transferred to your Twitter account. However, I'm not entirely sure if your followers will appreciate it.
The Ping music network is not yet functional with a Czech account. There is still no full-fledged iTunes with which the service is linked. But if you you create a US iTunes account or you use the existing one, you can test the service to a limited extent: add comments, link music samples... But what will you almost certainly not use? Concerts section.
Let's hope that within a few years, Apple will be able to come to an agreement with European legislation, record companies, various protection unions representing artists, and one day Jobs will say: "iTunes in the Czech Republic".

Apple has come to an expensive agreement with most European legislation over the years. The main problem with us is the Authors' Protection Union, which is a squad of Bolshevik morons who boycott these new things. The idea that, for example, from every copier (printer, audio carrier, etc.) sold, the author's fee is transferred to the author's fund, which pays authors who were publishing for example 20 years ago and are now only in that union...
Sorry for this offtopic post but I didn't know where else to post this….has anyone noticed something going on at http://www.apple.com ?? Something with iTunes :-)
Today I tried itunes on the iPad and it is now possible to download the podcast!!! Even for Czech accounts. Great progress at last.
