The good news is that Photoshop should be out soon. Then everything else is negative. Originally announced features such as filters, pen, custom brush libraries, vector drawing, RAW editing, smart objects, working with layers, masks and more will not be available on the iPad.

Photoshop CC for iPad will be offered as part of an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription with monthly fees. The application should offer a connection to the entire Adobe ecosystem.
