Philips has once again expanded its line of smart Hue bulbs, this time not directly with another type of bulb, but with a wireless controller to control them, which many users have been calling for. Thanks to the so-called wireless dimmer kit, you can easily remotely control the brightness of up to 10 bulbs at once without having to use any mobile device.

A white Philips Hue bulb is also present with the controller in each set, and additional ones can be purchased. Using the controller is very easy, similar to the entire Hue range. The controller can be attached to the wall, or you can remove it from the holder and use it anywhere around the house.

Thanks to four buttons, the bulbs can be turned off, turned on and increase/decrease their brightness. Philips promises that there will be no flickering or humming of bulbs when controlled by a wireless controller, as is sometimes the case with other solutions. With the controller, it is possible to control up to 10 bulbs at the same time, so you can use it to control, for example, the lighting in the entire room.

In addition to the white bulbs that come with the control set, the controller should also be connectable with other Hue bulbs. The price of the control set is 40 dollars (940 crowns) and for one white bulb you will pay another 20 dollars (470 crowns). Prices for the Czech market and availability of the new products have not yet been announced, but they will be available in the United States during September.
