If your iOS device is also a mobile office for you, you certainly need to work with documents in PDF format from time to time. In today's selection of the best iPhone apps, we're going to give you a few tips for apps that help you read, annotate, and do basic editing of PDF files.
Adobe Acrobat Reader
The Adobe Acrobat Reader application is used not only for opening and viewing PDF documents, but also for annotating them, changing the display method for more convenient reading, highlighting and marking text in these files, adding notes, and working with shared PDF documents. The application is also great with your scanned documents, allows you to fill in and sign compatible forms and offers advanced options for printing and saving files. The creators of the application emphasize above all its low demands, speed, reliability and security, it also includes tools for collaboration or support for reading out loud.

For years, and unsurpassed, GoodReader.
That's right, the ones mentioned are definitely not the best.
GoodReader was cool many years ago. I admit that it is not resting on its laurels, it is still being worked on, but it has changed a lot since some time and I did not like the change, so I stopped using it. Right now, I would consider Documents by Readdle to be ideal. But the time when I would need to work more with PDF on iOS is definitely long gone. Today, tablets and iPadOS are for that. There, Documents is still suitable for browsing, but for more serious work, only PDF Expert from Readdle. I usually edit documents there, stamp, sign, send finished products to business partners, and I couldn't do it better even on a Mac.
