Dan Pražák Press Release: PanzerGlass, a Danish manufacturer of premium protective glass for smart devices, recently introduced the new ClearCase case. It perfectly protects the phone while not spoiling its unique design. Glass is now available for sale on the Czech market as well, in the iPhone version.
The ClearCase case takes phone protection to a new level and offers uncompromising protection while maintaining the original appearance of the device. The back side is made up of a transparent piece of new, even stronger PanzerGlass. Despite the perfect protection, the user does not lose the daily pleasure of the eye and the convenience of using the phone. With the PanzerGlass ClearCase, there is no need to compromise between the design the customer paid for and their protection.
The basis of the new ClearCase case is PanzerGlass glass on the back with a thickness of 0,7 millimeters, i.e. 0,3 millimeters thicker than the PanzerGlass used to protect the device's display. At the same time, almost twice the thickness means several times better resistance to impacts and falls while maintaining the traditional scratch resistance that we know from other PanzerGlass products. At the same time, the glass distributes impact energy more effectively to protect against breaking the back of the phone itself.

But one of the biggest advantages of the new ClearCase case is that it does not interfere with the design of the device on which it is used. The glass on the back makes perfect sense, because the phones themselves are made of a similar material. With the maximum possible protection, it preserves the maximum of the way the phone was intended by the manufacturer, which brings two advantages - both aesthetic and practical, because the phone fits perfectly in the hand with the case and the anti-slip surface prevents it from slipping out.
We will also find other advantages here. Compared to classic materials such as plastic, rubber, or silicone, PanzerGlass is more resistant to scratches and abrasions from normal use, and thus maintains a constant appearance. It does not suffer from yellowing, as is the case with transparent plastic products. Compared to other materials, it feels more pleasant and premium in the palm. Another advantage is that the material does not prevent the use of wireless charging.
The glass on the back of the case is complemented by a soft TPU plastic that forms its frame. It allows a firmer and more secure grip on the device, of course there are raised parts that fit exactly on the buttons on the side of the phone and thus allow a more comfortable press. The back side of the glass, like the display glass, is covered with a strong oleophobic layer, which eliminates excessive capture of fingerprints. The case frame is treated in the same way. Compatibility with PanzerGlass windshields is a matter of course.
The PanzerGlass ClearCase case is currently available to business partners for a very pleasant retail price of CZK 899. For a similar price to standard PanzerGlass protective glasses, the customer receives several times stronger glass and reliable protection of the sides of the device as a bonus. It will be available for iPhone 7/7 Plus, 8/8 Plus, X/XS, XS Max and XR, other models from other manufacturers will be added gradually.
