PR The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick flash drive is an external memory that easily provides up to 256GB extra for your iPhone or iPad. Through internal WiFi, it connects up to three devices simultaneously and allows you to stream digital content to them. On the other hand, data from external devices can be easily and quickly stored on this disk. This frees up a lot of space on your iPhone and you don't need an internet connection.
The available application then securely takes care of automatically backing up your photos and other files. The disk is charged using the USB interface and, of course, data can be stored on the disk via this interface, just like a classic USB flash drive. A full charge provides almost five hours of continuous operation. The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick with its elegant design and white color can be kept in your pocket or bag, yet the capacity it provides will be quickly and easily accessible. Compact dimensions (21 x 78 x 12mm) and ease of use make this flash drive an ideal and useful addition to your digital life. A disk with a capacity of 256 GB is available for a price exceeding 4 crowns. Lower capacities and therefore cheaper versions are also available.
"A full charge provides almost five hours of continuous operation" is unfortunately the Achilles heel of this device ... so, as always, when buying an iPhone, it pays to look for a larger capacity rather than helping yourself with various "tricks" :-)
not necessarily. I'm going on vacation by car and the kids have iPads, mostly 16GB. So I bought this very 256, filled it with movies and music, put it in the socket in the car (fortunately, it can charge and work at the same time), children tablets for cables to sockets and wifi and I will have peace of mind from them the whole way. they choose what they want to listen to or watch, put on their headphones….
We used to talk, play games, or sing in the car.
Today it is solved with tablets!!!!!!??????
2.100 km, 5 children, one car. I also remember the times when we traveled in the Škoda 100 in the back without belts and talked. Yes, we talk, we play games, but due to the age gap, it's not entirely easy. And so tablets come in handy, especially when the little ones fall asleep while driving... Of course they don't hang on to the tablets all the way, but as an addition it's nice and if existing technologies allow it, why not use it?
Tablets destroy children! Completely. From the eyes, through the cervical spine to their personality. (Jobs himself knew this and did not give his children tablets.)
But I admit, it is a convenient and nowadays very popular solution. "Listen to your tablet and do not disturb." Then, when we are old, the children will tell us the same thing! ?
Better let my kids watch from the car window. They will see the same thing and at least have a topic to discuss. And not each of them has its own world, - its own display.
this is already very off-topic, but so be it. In the same way, children are destroyed by unnecessarily heavy briefcases, high demands at school, a fast and consumerist life.... It is the same as in our childhood, only the "tools" have changed. For us, it was necessary to have a "t-shirt" (and at least one phosphor), to have the game "Nu Pagadi", to have digital cards (even better with a calculator)... because these were simply signs of some social group. Today, mobile phones, tablets and, more recently, spinners are such signs for children. Those who do not have them are judged as someone "different", who does not belong to others. And thus the child is asocialized from his basic group. But back to the discussion of tablets, children and cars. Yes, it is sometimes even easier and it depends only on the parents to what extent they allow their children to use tablets. Personally, I don't see a difference if a child watches a fairy tale at home on TV, on a laptop, on a portable DVD player or on a tablet. Likewise, I don't see anything wrong with games where the child trains motor skills, accuracy, logic, physical laws, learns new words…. if all this is to some reasonable extent and is supplemented by other activities (movement, participation in real life....). And with that I would allow myself to end this discussion from my side, because I have already stated everything important. And back to the product under review - nothing bad can be said about the purpose for which it was created. Maybe it's just that if the videos are recorded in an unnecessarily high quality, it's practically impossible to watch them on more than one device at the same time. But this is quite logical, you just need to be aware of it (I took fairy tales from the HDD for HD TV at home as they are and the result is that a maximum of one device can play them without tearing). And the second inconvenience is the strange functioning on Android - wifi is not always visible on Android, sometimes you can't connect to it…. On iOS without the slightest problem
I certainly wouldn't call it "the cloud". Otherwise, I have nothing against the device. I have similar…
I wouldn't call it cloud either. I consider the cloud to be something that I or anyone else can connect to anywhere using the internet, not just within wifi range.
Otherwise, as a flash it is a bit bigger for today, but still tolerable. And apparently, it's the only flash drive that's fully compatible for transferring files between iOS devices and PCs and Macs. All flash drives with a lightning connector have a problem with macOS compatibility, which is not the case with this Wi-Fi flash drive. Thanks for that.
Today it can be a cloud or a fish or a pebble.
Hello,
I own this device and it works fine, I just wanted to ask if it's mainly someone who understands network setup and NAS.
When the device is not password protected, I can see it after redirecting to WiFi on eg Apple TV (4.GEN) in the infuse app which is great and the stream works flawlessly. However, the problem arises when the device is password-protected, I don't know how to fill in the logs for the administration (I'm sending a photo). I'm also sorry that I don't know how to access the disk wirelessly from the finder (preparation for USB-C). Please is there anyone who can advise?
