Apple has announced that in the four days that OS X Mountain Lion has been available, it has sold over three million copies of its new operating system. This is the most successful launch in the history of OS X.
V press release Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing, commented on the success:
Just one year after we released Lion to great success, users downloaded over three million copies of Mountain Lion in four days, making it the most successful launch ever.
OS X Mountain Lion se discovered in the Mac App Store last Wednesday and can be downloaded for $19,99 (€15,99). However, if Apple has announced that they have already downloaded three million copies, that does not mean that they should be cashing out the said $20 for each one in Cupertino. For one payment, the user can install the operating system on multiple computers, and those who bought a new Mac only recently received OS X Mountain Lion for free.
If we were to compare with last year, then Apple recorded one million downloads of OS X Lion in the first 24 hours.
You can read a review of the new OS X Mountain Lion, which brings over 200 new features <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a>.
I don't know how many news items you use, but I was interested in only one, and that is the NOTES application for mac
But I can't figure out how to set up sync between my iPad and iPhone and put a note in ON MY MAC or gmail, why can't I see it in the devices anyway
I'd like to know too. So far it doesn't work very well. The notes have pulled some older records from the iphone, the notes are not syncing at all. If it won't work until ios6.
Well, the notes disappeared from the Mail application. when I look at the set mail accounts, the sync of notes has also disappeared from there. it is now in the accounts settings under notes. Apple had to make some changes to the iPam and Google, because on the iPhone I don't see the option to check NOTES in the sync settings either. I'm not very interested in iOS 6, iphone3G and ipad1 won't have it :-)
I tried evernote as an alternative, but for the 1st note there is something that should be available immediately, evernote is quite slow and for the 2nd free version it cannot be viewed offline
if apple cuts off my syncing of notes with this approach, then I will seriously think about the change
It's been fubbling without a problem since DP1, if I remember correctly..
the best answer when someone solves a problem is to write "I'm fine" so thank you!
Via iCloud
thanks to the fact that iphone 3g doesn't support icloud, i'm quite stuck in this. unfortunately, it is not possible to synchronize one device via tunes and ipad via icloud, then the calendar and basically everything is duplicated.
I installed mountain lion and am using file vault. After restarting, the macbook won't start at all and all the tips are non-functional. It doesn't see the disk. Thanks for the help.
Here I discovered a rather unpleasant thing. When I write an e-mail, it is not possible to browse incoming and outgoing e-mails at the same time.
That, in addition to not displaying the remaining battery time in the menu bar and removing RSS support from Mail.app and Safari 6, this would be another simplification (=improvement) of the system? For now, I'm glad I put off the upgrade until the fall MBP upgrade.
