In this regular column, every day we look at the most interesting news that revolves around the California company Apple. Here we focus exclusively on the main events and selected (interesting) speculations. So if you are interested in current events and want to be informed about the apple world, definitely spend a few minutes on the following paragraphs.

Apple has sent out invitations to a new event

Today, Apple sent out invitations to its upcoming event, which will take place exactly one week from now. Although most of the enthusiastic Apple fans expected the introduction of the new Apple Watch and iPad through a press release, which was prophesied by the famous leaker Jon Prosser, in the end it was a "mere" announcement of the upcoming event. So the conference itself will take place on September 15 in California's Apple Park in the Steve Jobs Theater.

You can view the event logo in augmented reality on iPhone and iPad

Of course, information about the event appeared on the official Apple Events page. However, the interesting thing is that if you open the given page on your Apple phone or iPad in the native Safari browser and click on the logo itself, it will open in augmented reality (AR) and you will be able to view it in detail, for example, right on your desk.

It is quite a tradition for the Californian giant to create entertaining graphic materials in connection with an upcoming event or conference. In the past, we could see something similar in connection with the introduction of the new iPad, when we could imagine a wide variety of Apple logos.

Are we expecting an iPhone 12 launch or not?

Most people are already impatiently awaiting the presentation of the upcoming iPhone 12 and are looking forward to all the interesting news that Apple will come up with. The Californian giant has already announced in the past that the release of new Apple phones will unfortunately be delayed. Although the September conference is scheduled ahead of us, we should supposedly forget about the iPhone 12. The well-respected editor Mark Gurman from Bloomberg magazine commented on the whole situation, who, by the way, had previously pointed out that today we will see the announcement of the upcoming conference.

According to Bloomberg, the event will only focus on the Apple Watch and iPad. In particular, we should wait for the release of the sixth generation of Apple watches and a new tablet with the attribute Air. Apple should reportedly keep the presentation of the iPhone 12 until October. However, various information suggests that we will still see the release of the iOS 14 operating system in September, while the watchOS 7, tvOS 14 and macOS 11 Big Sur systems will arrive later in the fall. In theory, we should wait for the release of the Apple Watch 6, which will still run last year's watchOS 6 system.

What he will bring in the finals of the conference is of course unclear for now. For the time being, only various assumptions and speculations appear on the Internet, while only Apple itself knows the official information. What do you think about the upcoming conference? Will we see the introduction of a watch and a tablet, or will the world really see the expected iPhone 12?

Apple has launched a new podcast called Oprah's Book Club

With the arrival of the apple platform  TV+, the Californian giant announced a collaboration with American presenter Oprah Winfrey. Part of this collaboration was a TV show called Oprah's Book Club, in which Oprah interviewed a number of writers. Today we saw the release of a brand new podcast with the same name, which is supposed to act as a complement to the talk show itself.

Over the course of eight episodes in the aforementioned podcasts, Oprah is scheduled to discuss the book Castle: The Origins of Our Discontents by a writer named Isabel Wilkerson. The book itself points out racial inequality and helps the reader in general to understand racial problems in the United States of America.
