The last time we looked at the statistics of how iOS 11 is faring, it was the beginning of December. At that time, according to Apple's official data, the iOS 11 operating system was installed on 59% of all active iOS devices. We are now approaching the end of January and the total value has increased again. However, it's probably not the kind of growth that Apple envisions. Especially over the Christmas holidays.

As of December 5, iOS 11 adoption has risen from 59% to 65%. iOS 10 currently stands at a still respectable 28%, and older operating systems are installed on another 7% of iPhones, iPads or iPods. A 6% increase in a month and a half is probably not something Apple likes to see. iOS 11 is rolling out significantly slower than its predecessor (the year before) last year.

At this time last year, iOS 10 could boast of being rolled out to 76% of devices. However, this trend has been noticeable since Apple released the official version of iOS 11 to users. The transition is slower, people are still hesitant or completely ignoring it. Since its release, the new version has received a huge number of updates, whether they were minor or major. The current version 11.2.2 should be much more stable and functional than the new system was at the time of release. Intensive testing of the build is also currently underway, which could see the light of day as 11.3. It is currently in the seventh beta version and its release could come very soon.
