Petr Škuta While the pioneer of flexible smartphones Samsung Galaxy Fold is suffering from labor pains, interesting concepts of a hybrid Mac and iPad in one appeared on the Internet. The flexible display thus acquires a completely different meaning, and we can even imagine the result in practice.
Creators of Luna Display solutions processed an imaginative use of a flexible display in one machine that combines the features of a Mac computer and an iPad tablet. This "hybrid" would thus be able to use the best of both worlds and push the possibilities of use a bit further.

And what position will Apple take? It doesn't look like it will release a flexible phone in 2019. But that didn't stop us from dreaming! We therefore took matters into our own hands and created our own folding solution based on our imagination.

Flexible Mac and iPad a reality
The creators emphasize that they went to the limits of the possibilities of Mac and iPad. They wanted to use the support of all accessories, but at the same time not to lose the touch layer in the macOS desktop operating system.
In addition to the images, we also have a video on the blog that shows the current possibilities and brings this concept to life in practice using our own Luna Display solution. Although it is still far from the simplicity and usability of the design concept, it cannot be denied a certain touch and promise of the future.
After all, certain reports indicate that Apple itself is preparing its own solution for the new version of the macOS 10.15 operating system. The Mac would thus be able to natively use the iPad as a second screen without installing third-party applications. If this comes true, we will find out in a month at the developer conference WWDC 2019. Until then, Luna Display will serve well.

This folding is a really strange idea.
Well, that video is bullshit.
The first picture is interesting, if there was a keyboard with a touchpad on the bottom screen and it would give a haptic response after pressing the key. And in a balanced state, it could be placed in a stand and powered and it would be an iMac.
