The domestic operator O2 came up with a very interesting offer for its customers. Number two in the Czech market has partnered with the popular music streaming service Spotify and will offer its customers its premium services free of charge. Additionally, streaming music will not count towards your downloaded data. However, it is not always, O2 mainly wants to support the use of data in mobile devices.

All O2 customers who have activated internet on their mobile will get a premium Spotify membership for three months completely free, otherwise it costs six euros per month. After three months, an item for CZK 2 will appear on your invoice from O159 every month, unless you cancel the service or switch to its free version with advertising.

Perhaps even more interesting is the fact that O2 has decided not to count the data downloaded when listening via Spotify to the FUP. In this way, the user saves data and can listen practically unlimitedly, that is, where there is a mobile Internet signal. Owners of selected FREE and Kůl tariffs will be able to use this advantage until 31/5/2018, for other tariffs the offer is valid until 31/5/2017.

With this relatively tempting offer, O2 is trying to get users to use and buy more mobile data, because it is through data services that operators make up for the drop in income from classic SMS and calls.

The Czech operator was inspired, for example, by the American T-Mobile, but unlike it, it offers the exclusion of streaming from FUP permanently and, in addition, it offers many more similar services. Also important is the fact that the offer with Spotify does not apply to business customers, they are not entitled to it.
