It's no surprise that streaming services like Netflix and HBO Go are currently experiencing a huge increase in users. However, this is not the case for all services, as data from analytics company Antenna showed. While the largest increase in users was recorded by Disney+, the increase in Apple TV+ is minimal.

The analytics company mainly explains the 300 percent increase in users for Disney+ by the fact that schools are closed. We must also not forget that this is a relatively new service and many people have not tried it yet. In addition, the popularity among users will increase as Disney has launched its service in Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. HBO saw a ninety percent increase with its service.

With an increase of 47 percent, Netflix is certainly not bad considering how many users worldwide already had an account. Apple TV+ only saw an increase of 10 percent. On the other hand, the company can at least enjoy the increased demand for Apple TV. Apple has decided to only have its own content in its streaming service, which may not be ideal at the moment, as it has little content to fix compared to the competition. If we compare it with the Disney+ service, which was launched around the same time, Disney can rely on its own catalog, which includes a huge number of well-known series from Star Wars to Marvel to hundreds of animated fairy tales.
