It seems the new AirPods Pro are more popular than expected. According to foreign information, there is such interest in the new product that Apple had to negotiate with its suppliers to increase production in order to cover the high demand and not increase the time required for delivery.

If you order AirPods Pro wireless headphones from Apple's official website today, they will arrive sometime next year. So it looks like the situation with the original AirPods is repeating itself to some extent. Even the Pro model, which is considerably more expensive, literally sucks. The enormous popularity is also confirmed by foreign sources, according to which the situation has reached such a point that Apple had to take action.

According to Bloomberg sources, Apple has ordered its suppliers to double the current production in order to adequately satisfy all interested parties and not to repeat the situation of the original generation of AirPods, for which there were extremely long waiting periods and the headphones were not properly available even six months after the start of sales.

In numbers, this means that suppliers will now produce at least 2 million AirPods Pro each month, up from the current production rate of one million. AirPods Pro is manufactured by the Chinese company Luxshare, which is also involved in the production of classic AirPods and was also supposed to be the manufacturer discontinued AirPower charging pads.

If you (or someone else) want to buy the new AirPods Pro for Christmas, you don't have many options left. The wait time on Apple's website will get longer rather than shorter, and other retailers only have minimal stock. For example Alza has sold out and reports delivery of additional pieces for the week before Christmas. Currently the only Mobile Emergency has several pieces in stock. Therefore, if you are interested in the headphones, we recommend that you do not delay your purchase for too long, as they will sell out soon.
