Since we're talking about the case of Apple vs. Last heard from Epic Games, it's been a few long weeks. At that time, we devoted several comprehensive articles to the mentioned case, so you could be in the know all that time. If you don't remember, I will remind you of the situation. Game studio Epic Games has added an unauthorized custom payment method to Fortnite. However, this is prohibited in the App Store, as all payments must go through Apple's gateway. The Californian giant was uncompromising in this case and removed Fortnite from the App Store - and it must be noted that it still hasn't returned to it. Soon, however, there will be an option with which you will be able to play Fortnite on iOS or iPadOS - via GeForce Now.

It should be noted that Epic Games is not the only game company that has problems with Apple. Among other things, there was also some "conflict" between Apple and Nvidia. A few months ago, it introduced the new GeForce Now service, which is intended for streaming games. In a way, you can say that on GeForce Now you are paying monthly for the performance you can use to play games. This service became very popular and was supposed to reach the App Store for iOS and iPadOS. However, the opposite has become true, as Apple does not support similar game applications in the App Store. In particular, it is not possible to place an application in the App Store that serves as a "signpost" for playing other games. A few days ago, Apple relaxed and allowed the placement of games within these applications, which are also available in the App Store. However, if the game is not in the App Store, it may not be in GeForce Now and other similar services.

If you were in Nvidia's shoes and you had such a popular project in front of you, which GeForce Now is without a doubt, you would certainly be looking for some way to bypass the limitation. Unfortunately, the apple company is out of the question in this case, so Nvidia had to come up with a completely different solution - and that's what happened. Today, Nvidia launched GeForce Now in Safari, both for iOS and iPadOS. This means that you can now play all games - even those that Apple did not give the green light - on your iPhone or iPad without any problems. The Nvidia GeForce Now gaming service is intended for all individuals who cannot afford a powerful computer, or for all those who want to play popular games from a computer on their iPhone or iPad.

The procedure in this case is very simple - just go to Nvidia GeForce Now page, and then log in or register. Once signed in, tap the option to launch GeForce Now for iOS in Safari – keep in mind that this new option is only in beta testing for now. Then all you have to do is add GeForce Now to your desktop, launch it, sign in again, and you're done – you can start playing all your favorite games right away. As for Fortnite, Nvidia will add it to GeForce Now very soon - everything is in the preparation phase. So if everything goes well (and there's no reason why it shouldn't), we'll be playing Fortnite again on iOS and iPadOS really soon. It should be noted that Epic Games cooperates with Nvidia in a way - so both companies support each other.

Personally, I have already tried GeForce Now in Safari on iPhone and I have to say that everything worked perfectly fine. The good news is that you can even play for free with GeForce Now. You can choose between a free program and a subscription called Founders. In the free program, you can play for an hour at a time, and then you have to restart the game, and you also have to wait in the queue for a long time. If you decide to buy a Founders subscription for 139 crowns per month, you can play as long as you want without the slightest limitation. In addition, you always have priority in the queue and at the same time you have active RTX effects. Anyway, of course for most games you need a gamepad to play comfortably.
