Apple has 10. September to introduce the new iPhone 5S and naturally there is talk about what internals the new generation of Apple phones will carry. It should feature at least the new chip (SoC) Apple A7, which according to the latest reports is supposed to be up to 30 percent faster than the current version of the A6...
On Twitter about it informed Fox's Clayton Morris, who usually has reliable sources. According to him, the new A7 chip in the iPhone 5S will be roughly 31 percent faster than the A6, which will once again push the performance of the device a little further.
Next Morris he said, that the iPhone 5S will have a separate chip that will only be used to capture motion, which could mean interesting changes for the camera. And finally, there is also speculation that Apple is testing a 64-bit version of the A7 chip. However, it is not yet clear whether Apple will manage to prepare the new architecture in time. If he succeeds, animations, transitions and other graphic effects in iOS 7 should be much smoother than on current iOS devices.
Very useful article full of verified facts.
I would have believed that separate chip for movement, when information appeared recently that it should be able to do more than 30 frames/second.
why the A7 chip, even if it is 30% faster, when the A6 chip is more than enough for now. Or perhaps there is an application that would "suck" him out of performance?
