Apple launched its new Pro Display XDR this week. The display is available from us, and those interested can get glass in a special treatment with a nanotexture for an additional fee. This modification, which will cost the user approximately CZK 30, reduces reflections and reflections on the display and gives it a pleasant matte appearance. With Apple, you may not be surprised that a special treatment also requires special care, for which Apple is, of course, very well prepared.

According to the support document that Apple has issued for the display, it is necessary to clean the display with the mentioned modification only with the help of a special cloth that Apple offers. Users should never use water or any other solutions to clean the specially treated display glass. In the corresponding document, Apple warns that users should not use any other substances to clean the specially treated glass of the display in addition to the aforementioned cloth. If the user loses or destroys the special cloth, they can contact Apple, who will provide a replacement. At the same time, Apple also issued instructions for cleaning a special cloth. This should be done with dishwashing liquid and water, and after washing, the special cloth should be allowed to dry for at least twenty-four hours.

The standard version of the display does not require demanding care. Apple recommends cleaning the display with an ordinary glass treatment using an ordinary microfiber cloth moistened with a small amount of water. Other parts of the display can be cleaned with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Since its introduction, Apple's Pro Display XDR has been the target of various internet jokes. The price of the display starts at almost 140 CZK, and a special stand can be purchased for an additional 000 CZK for the display - it is quite understandable that the mention of the need to use a special Apple cloth fueled these jokes.

The new display from Apple can be ordered now, the version with standard modification should arrive to its owners in the second half of December. However, customers will have to wait until the second half of January for the variant with nanotexture.
