Macheist is famous for regularly offering very interesting applications at a more than reasonable price as part of promotional packages, and it is no different with its latest version - the for $15 will offer TotalFinder, Cocktail or Parallels Access.
The current Macheist is characterized by applications that are not available in the Mac App Store for various reasons. Nevertheless, if you wanted to buy all nine of them separately, you would have to pay over $300 (7 crowns) for them. Macheist offers them together for only 400 dollars (15 crowns).
You get the first seven apps immediately upon payment, the other two (Cocktail and Little Snitch) unlock once enough packs are sold, but that's usually not a problem. There are five days left until the end of Macheist.
- Default Folder X (original price $35) – smarter and more efficient save dialog in OS X.
- VirusBarrier ($108) – protection against viruses.
- uBar ($20) – turning the dock in OS X into a customizable Windows-style panel.
- Speedy ($20) – quick access to all your favorite items.
- TotalFinder ($18) – a popular add-on for the system Finder with advanced features.
- Parallels Access ($20 per year) – 24/7 access to Mac or PC from any iOS and Android device.
- CodeKit ($32) – a web development tool.
- Cocktail ($19) – Mac system cleaning.
- Little Snitch ($35) – advanced firewall.
You'll find The Mac Anarchy Bundle, as the latest Macheist is called thanks to apps outside the Mac App Store <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a>. The event ends in 5 days.
I wouldn't buy apps outside of the (Mac) App Store…
and may I ask the reason?
It's not safe to run applications from a developer you don't trust without prior verification…..at least someone ;-).
And have you read about the fact that a lot of developers are leaving the AppStore because of the conditions?
That's like not installing Photoshop because it's not in the Store :-). I can say that I use most of the apps outside the store because the developers decided to leave there. And specifically, I'm waiting to see if the little snitch will be unlocked with this bundle.
Of course, if you don't take care of yourself, you can get into a mess, but I don't think that the apps that are in these bundles would be dangerous in any way
So photoshop is not a good example. I clearly wrote that it is not safe to run applications of someone you don't trust or is not verified...
In addition, I also like the store as a user. I don't have to hunt for it somewhere, solve keys, etc...
Developers should make this clear. Pres Appstore for the price tag what I want + what apple wants and then from your website for the price tag what I want without what apple wants. Let the users decide what they want or not.
I myself would very much welcome this possibility. but I'm afraid that the developer of the application will not make two versions. it would probably be unnecessary extra work.
After all, it doesn't have to be 2 versions, right?
Only 2 versions of the distribution.
if I understood it correctly, the developers do not sell through the apple store because the conditions are sometimes untenable. apple rejects the application because I violate the terms. and developers can't create an app to meet apple's requirements while keeping the app's full functionality. for this reason, they sell applications outside the apple store. otherwise, there are two possibilities: either I will sell the application only outside the apple store, or the possibility I mentioned above - that I will develop two versions. one cut that complies with the conditions and passes approval and type - fully functional, which I will sell outside the apple store. which is probably unrealistic.
I dont know that. I thought the problem was that they take up to 30% of the sale.
And in this case, because it's bullshit ;-).
E.g. The only thing that would be useful to me is "Parallels Access", and TeamViewer, which is free, can do that just fine.
for CodeKit work, TotalFinder, Little Snitch :-)…the little snitch alone is worth the few bucks
little snitch had an apartment available after selling 5k
You're late, Kim has already bought everything.
Hello,
what happened to me when I bought this package was that someone else took the Coctail app on my account. There was a different email address under my name for the Cocktail app in the list of purchased apps qlzrookicpik@macheist.com and when i tried to enter the serial number it said that the number is already in use. It feels like it was targeted. I tried to report this to macheist, they told me to contact the developer and then no one contacted me. I think that was my last purchase from them, it's only a few hundred, but what will they do next?
