Today after four o'clock in the afternoon, a video with the new iMac Pro appeared on the YouTube channel MKBHD, which is managed by the popular Marques Brownlee. Marques has had the new iMac Pro for about a week now, and it seems at least part of the NDA expired this afternoon, allowing him to post his first impressions on YouTube. You can watch the seven-minute presentation of the hot news below in the article. At the time of publication, this is the very first video showing the new iMac Pro (at least in its production version).

Update: Shortly before the article was published, she was officially published information that the new iMac Pro will go on sale on December 14.

Marques received a new iMac Pro in the new Space Gray color variant. He has had it for about a week, and during that time he thoroughly tested it (for example, the video of the performance itself is edited on it). We will have to wait for some more complex conclusions until the final review. It should be worth it, because the new iMac Pro in this case replaces a four-year-old Mac Pro, and Marques thus has a direct comparison with the model that the novelty (at least temporarily) replaces.

The new iMac Pro will offer really good hardware (however, without the possibility of the slightest custom upgrade). Server Xeons with 8 to 18 cores, up to 128GB DDR4 RAM, AMD RX Vega 56/64 graphics cards with 8 or 16GB VRAM and NVMe PCI-e SSD storage with a maximum capacity of 4TB will be available. A perfectly calibrated 5K display is also a matter of course. Owners will also receive complete peripherals for the iMac (newly available also in Space Gray variant). At first glance (except for the color), the new iMac Pro does not differ much from the original iMacs. The model series is indicated only by the ventilation opening on the back of the device. All I/O ports are also located here. Here we find an SD card reader, 4x USB 3.0 type A, 4x Thundebrolt 3, a 3,5mm jack connector and a 10Gbit LAN port. The price of the novelty will depend on the configuration, it should start at 5 thousand dollars. If Apple starts selling the new iMac Pro still this week December 14, the first full reviews should come fairly soon as well.
