The new iMac Pro Apple presented at this year's WWDC conference, which took place in June. The new workstations for professionals should go on sale sometime in December. It's been a few days since the new iMacs Pro also appeared in public for the first time, an event for video professionals. Due to the early start of sales, interesting details about what we can expect from the new Macs have started to surface. The latest information says that inside these computers will be last year's A10 Fusion mobile processor, which will be in charge of everything related to the intelligent assistant Siri.

The information was extracted from the code of BridgeOS 2.0 and the latest versions of macOS. According to them, the new Mac Pro will have an A10 Fusion processor (which debuted last year in the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus) with 512MB of RAM memory. It is not yet known exactly what will control everything in the system, so far it is only known that it will work with the command "Hey Siri" and will thus be tied to what Siri will do for the user and will be in charge of the boot process and computer security.

This is not the first use of mobile chips in Apple computers. Since last year's MacBook Pro, there is a T1 processor inside, which in this case takes care of the Touch Bar and everything related to it. This move has been predicted for several months, given that Apple is said to be flirting with the idea of deploying ARM chips in its devices. This solution thus offers a great opportunity to test this integration "in the dirt". In the following generations, it may happen that these processors will be responsible for more and more tasks. We will see how this solution turns out in practice in a few weeks.
