Apple continues to build a network of brick-and-mortar Apple Stores. The latest addition belongs to Tokyo. The shop is characterized by tall glass windows, extending over two whole floors.

The largest will open in the Marunouchi business district Apple Store in Japan. The shop is opposite the historic Tokyo train station. The grand opening is this Saturday, September 7th. Marunouchi is the third Apple Store to open since April this year. Apple intends to further expand its scope in Japan.

It is not surprising that Apple is focusing on Japan. It is a country where he has been doing well for a long time. It has over 55% of the smartphone market there, which it does not even have at home in the United States. The company therefore knows very well why it has to pay attention to Japanese customers.

The fifth Apple Store in Tokyo features a unique facade adorned with over two floors of glass windows. They have frames made of a special type of aluminum and rounded corners. With a bit of exaggeration, they resemble the design of today's iPhones.

Different on the outside, familiar Apple Store on the inside

Inside, however, it is a standard Apple Store. The minimalist design once again made its mark on the entire interior. Apple bets on wooden tables and the products laid out on them. There is enough space and light everywhere. The impression is completed by greenery.

In addition to standard product sales, Apple also promises its special Today at Apple tutorials, Genius bar for service and other services.

Over 130 Apple employees will attend the grand opening. This team will be able to communicate in up to 15 languages, as visitors from all over the world are expected.
