Dan Pražák Press Release: QNAP introduced the adapter QNA-UC5G1T, which allows users to add 5GbE/ 2,5GbE/ 1GbE/ 100MbE connectivity to their computers and NAS devices via USB 3.0. With the adapter, users can easily improve network speed when using existing Category 5e cable to increase file transfer speed and work efficiency.
“Home and business users are demanding more bandwidth to take advantage of high-performance systems and faster internet speeds. The practical QNA-UC5G1T adapter can be easily paired with a QNAP 10GbE switch, creating a high-speed network environment at home or in the office that greatly improves network speed and application performance," said Jason Hsu, product manager of QNAP, adding: "The QNA-UC5G1T adapter it's also useful for adding Ethernet connectivity to modern laptops that don't have built-in network ports.”
The QNA-UC5G1T adapter can be connected to other devices with a USB Type-A or Type-C cable. It is a device that fits in the palm of your hand and is passively cooled for easy and long-term use.
