Riding the wave of the annual Oscar frenzy, Apple released a new iPad ad to the world. It probably won't surprise anyone that the central motif of the latest ad is the iPad as a tool for filmmakers. It will become a useful tool in the advertising of Apple tablets for high school students who are working on their creative projects in parallel.

In addition to footage of students working in various ways, the video is complemented by an inspiring commentary by director Martin Scorsese, who highlights the role of hard work and experimentation as keys to creative success. At first glance, the video is a typical Apple advertisement that extols the iPad and its capabilities to miraculous heights. But the spot's authenticity is given by the fact that the ad itself was filmed using an iPad Air 2.

The LA County High School for the Arts collaborated with Apple on the advertisement, which also demonstrated the style of visual arts education in Los Angeles through the advertisement. Filmmaking students in this case packed iPads for the weekends and worked on their projects, while using another iPad Air 2 their work was also documented. The resulting advertisement was then created from the materials obtained in this way.

Apple proceeded similarly in the case past iPad ads, which was released earlier this month in conjunction with the Grammy Awards, for a change. An ad that also belongs to the latest series with the title "Change", then she demonstrated how the work on the song "All Or Nothing" took place with the help of an iPad. In the video, a trio of artists collaborate on it, including Swedish singer Elliphant, producer from Los Angeles Gaslamp Killer and English DJ Riton.

Apple's latest ad also boasts own page on the Apple website. On it, we can find the story behind individual student projects, as well as an overview of the hardware and applications that creators use in advertising. Among the promoted software, we can find several interesting applications.

The first of them is Final Draft Writer, which is used for effective scenario creation and collective work on it. To shoot the video as such, the students in the ad use handy FiLMiC Pro, while the application was used for subsequent color and saturation adjustments Video Grade. But Apple's own software also received attention GarageBand, which was used to create the soundtrack.
