One of the main novelties of the recently introduced 16″ MacBook Pro is the Magic Keyboard. It is based on the external keyboard of the same name for desktop computers, and Apple is returning to the original scissor type that it used on its laptops until 2016. But the Staron keyboard will not remain the domain of only the most powerful laptop from Apple, because soon it will also be offered on a 13″ MacBook Pro.

A Taiwanese server came up with the news today DigiTimes, whose accuracy in predicting Apple's future plans is rather variable. However, with the same information some time ago bailed out and renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, according to whom all Apple laptops, i.e. MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, will gradually receive a new keyboard.

This is, of course, a completely logical step on Apple's part. The existing butterfly keyboards are still defective despite three iterations of fixes, and Apple has to replace them free of charge for users in the event of a problem. The keyboard service program applies to each model for a period of four years, which means, among other things, that the services will offer it until 2023.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro with the new Magic Keyboard is to be introduced in the first half of next year. The new models can be expected to arrive in May - the same month Apple introduced the new 13″ and 15″ MacBook Pros for this year. Wistron Global Lighting Technologies is to be the main supplier of the new keyboard.

Along with the new keyboard, the physical Escape should also return to the smaller 13-inch MacBook Pro, and the power button should be separated from the Touch Bar. The layout of the arrows on the keyboard will also change to some extent, they will be in the form of the letter T.
