The newly introduced services will not have as much of an impact as Apple wishes. It will still have to stick to the proven recipe in the form of the iPhone.

At least most of the leading analysts more or less agree on this, at least in the short term. And you probably feel the same way. At the Keynote, Apple basically showed a "taste" of everything that will come later this year. Often we didn't even get the price or the details.

New services may not succeed at first

The Apple TV+ service, for example, caused great disappointment. And even with the leading analysts of Goldman Sachs, who cooperated and enabled the creation of the Apple Card virtual credit card. But while a credit card linked to a strong Apple ecosystem has its justification and, above all, a clear goal, analysts do not see it with Apple TV+.

The current state of the service is rather reminiscent of one large aggregator of services from other providers, which Apple wraps in a clear application with a single login, but without significant innovation. At the same time, essentially a direct competitor in the form of Netflix announced another record - it reached 8,8 million active subscribers, with a full 1,5 million coming directly from the US.

In addition, Apple is entering a very saturated market, where the competition is definitely not resting on its laurels. Cupertino may not save its own content, especially if the service will be significantly more expensive than others. Apple can thus succeed thanks to a huge user base, which it must be able to use.

Optimistic visions of analysts of other companies then predict a gradual but certain increase of Apple TV+. Looking ahead, the service could be one of the main drivers of Cupertino's business. In the early days, however, Apple will still have to rely on the production of iPhones.

The gaming market is much further away

Another service, Apple Arcade, is tied to these. Analysts noted that, in addition to unclear pricing policies, there may not even be an advantage of a strong platform in this case. Today, much more advanced technologies are coming to the fore, which make it possible to directly stream AAA games known from PCs and consoles. As a representative, we can name the already functional GeForce Now or the upcoming Google Stadia.

Both rely on powerful data centers to serve as powerful hardware to run even the most demanding games. The user's device thus becomes only a "terminal" through which he connects and subsequently uses the server's performance. Of course, a high-quality Internet connection is necessary for an ideal experience, but nowadays a 100/100 line is no longer such a problem as it once was.

So Apple with the game catalog model, which you download to your device, may not be very successful. Additionally, it wants to focus mainly on indie developers and smaller titles, which may or may not guarantee success.

Analysts' predictions should always be taken with a grain of salt. On the one hand, Apple has always aimed to change and transform entire industries, on the other hand, the cards have already been dealt and the competition is developing rapidly. We'll see if Apple took too big of a bite.
