In recent months, there has been quite a lot of talk about the new MacBooks Pro, which should come with a significant design change in the 14″ and 16″ versions. After all, this was confirmed by several verified sources, including Marg Gurman from Bloomberg, or analyst Ming-Chi Kua. In addition, a well-known leaker has also recently made himself heard Jon prosser, according to which Apple is going to present these news in two weeks, namely on the occasion of the WWDC developer conference.

According to Prosser, the upcoming one will also get a design change MacBook Air, which comes in fresh colors:

However, Prosser did not add any additional information to this statement. As we mentioned in the introduction, it has been known for quite some time that Apple is working on these new Macs. So let's recap what we know about them so far. As we mentioned in the introduction, the 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro should bring a significant change in design, which has not been here since 2016. The return of the HDMI port, SD card reader and power via the MagSafe connector are most often mentioned in connection with this change. All this should be complemented by three additional USB-C/Thunderbolt ports. At the same time, the Touch Bar should be removed, which will be replaced by classic function keys. The heat dissipation system will also be modified, which goes hand in hand with the new M1X chip. According to Bloomberg, it should offer 10 CPU cores (8 powerful and 2 economical), 16/32 GPU cores and up to 64 GB of memory.

We have to point out, however, that so far no other source has directly mentioned that the aforementioned presentation should already take place during June's WWDC. According to earlier statements by Bloomberg and Kuo, sales of the device should start in the second half of this year anyway.
