Apple has recently confirmed that the vast majority of macOS High Sierra operating system updates released in recent days address numerous bugs, particularly with MacBook Pro 2018. The Apple laptops, released this July, have been plagued by a number of problems. These were not only problems with overheating and the subsequent drop in performance, but also with sound, for example.

Apple quietly released a 1.3GB update this Tuesday, but wasn't very forthcoming about details. In the accompanying message, there was only general information that the update aims to improve the stability and reliability of MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, while recommending the update for all models from this year. "macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Supplemental Update 2 improves the stability and reliability of MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (2018) and is recommended for all users," Apple said in a statement.

MacRumors has reached out to Apple for details on the latest macOS High Sierra update. She received a reply that the mentioned update not only improves stability and reliability in many areas, but also has the task of solving problems with sound and kernel panic. The update hasn't been around long enough to get adequate user feedback, but one Apple Support Communities member named takashiyoshida, for example, reports that his MacBook Pro doesn't really have any audio issues after the update, even after three hours of loud playback music via iTunes. However, a Reddit user with the nickname onceARMY, on the other hand, claims that he still has problems with the sound when playing on YouTube. In the Spotify application, on the other hand, he did not experience any difficulties after installing the update. As for the second issue – kernel panic – a handful of users have experienced it at least once since the update. Before releasing the update, Apple offered users various solutions to the mentioned difficulties, such as disabling FileVault, but none of these worked as a permanent solution.
