The new iPhones are coming unstoppably, and the excitement surrounding the new products is reaching its peak. The situation is fueled by various reports and speculations about what will or will not happen. If you follow the events surrounding Apple regularly, you have a fairly clear idea of what Apple will (most likely) present on September 10. It is relatively clear for phones as such, in recent weeks there has been more talk about the accessories that Apple bundles with iPhones.

Reports have once again appeared on the web confirming earlier information that Apple is finally upgrading the chargers it bundles with iPhones this year. Instead of the old, much-criticized and long-lasting 5W USB-A chargers, the owners of this year's novelties should receive a significant upgrade.

Apple should bundle USB-C fast chargers with new iPhones, along with a new USB-C/Lightning charging cable. It is not yet clear how powerful the new chargers will be. If Apple will produce new, for example 10W versions for the needs of iPhones, or will it use the existing 18W USB-C chargers that it bundles with iPad Pros.

These would be a logical choice, but the problem could arise in their size, which is quite different from the usual 5W chargers for iPhones, which are relatively small. It is also a question whether Apple will gather enough courage to bundle such an "expensive" charger with iPhones. Given Apple's nature, I would expect a weaker USB-C charger to appear in the box, but if users want to charge even faster, they will have to purchase the 18W model.

Anyway, it was about time. Bundled fast chargers have been offered by mid-range phones for several years, within the competitive Android platform. It was quite incomprehensible that Apple offered old and weak chargers for its flagships with a price tag approaching the thousand dollar mark. This year should be different.
