If you have a Mac at home and are looking for a keyboard that would perfectly complement its design, you don't have too many choices. Either you can reach for a solution from Apple, which will certainly not offend, but these days it is no longer anything so original. Or you can look around for peripherals from other manufacturers. However, there are few interesting design and minimalist pieces. Now a product is about to hit the market that should freshen the air a bit in this category.

Behind it is the relatively well-known peripheral manufacturer Satechi, which, among other things, produces keyboards similar in design to the original ones from Apple. Their novelty thus complements the portfolio, but compared to the originals it will offer a slightly more interesting appearance, which is mainly influenced by the shape of the keys used.

The company comes with two keyboards, a wired and a wireless version. In both cases, these are full-fledged models with a numerical block. The wireless version is 50 dollars cheaper than the original from Apple, and the wired version is even 70 dollars, which is already a noticeable difference (about 2000, -).

The keyboard offers the same color schemes as we know from Apple products. Therefore, everything should be perfectly coordinated in terms of color (see gallery). Underneath the keys is a sort of "butterfly mechanism" that probably takes some inspiration from the original. The battery life of the wireless keyboard should attack 80 hours, charging works via USB-C. The wireless keyboard can be paired with up to three different computers. The keyboard can be ordered at manufacturer's website in silver, and in the following weeks also in space gray, rose gold and gold variants. Prices are set at $60 for the wired model and $80 for the wireless model.
